Junior WODS starts with summer workshops usually on the first Tuesday in June after the half term holiday. These run for 5 or 6 weeks ending with an open evening for families on the last Tuesday. The workshops are open to existing junior members and anyone on the waiting list who will be 11 by the end of the current year - we recruit up to the age of 16. Apart from teaching the art of drama, singing and dance, these weeks are used to assess and choose which children will be participating in the next pantomime. There are a limited number of places we can offer each year, those not successful may go back on the waiting list if they wish.
The annual pantomime is performed on the first weekend in February over 3 nights with 2 performances on the Saturday. Rehearsals start on Tuesdays 7-8.30pm in September and continue through until Christmas. After Christmas 4 Sunday afternoons are added to the rehearsal schedule as well as the ongoing Tuesdays. All workshops/rehearsals and the productions are held at St Peter's church hall Woodmansterne.
